Exchange was set up with the intention of developing a resource reference for
shoppers looking to shop from merchants involved in the Arts, Arts and Crafts,
Gifts and Collectibles as well as the Fashion and Accessories trade. At the
same time, it also offers related merchants and site owners the opportunity
to increase their exposure by listing their store in the directory and to contribute
and build up a resource that would benefit both shoppers and merchants albeit
in different ways. Link exchange represents one of the most popular and cost
effective way to help exchange members build up traffic and exposure of their
site over time.
If you are a merchant, artist, crafter or designer involved in any of the above-mentioned
activity, you are most welcome to join us as a link exchange partner and to
list your store in our directory. Link partners would preferably be those who
are actually involved in the creation of their own products rather than selling
generic items mass produced by some manufacturers.
At Smartshoppingworld,
we will do everything possible to ensure that our link partners will benefit
from the inclusion of their site in our directory listing. All link pages are
submitted to every possible search engine on a regular basis. This means that
if your link is listed here, not only will it be seen by your target audience,
but search engines robots which trawl our site will be able to pick up your
link with us, index it and give your site a higher ranking.
Benefits
As our link partner, besides having your link listed in our directory, you will
also enjoy the added benefit of having your site showcased on the
main page of our site listing directory on a rotational basis. This service
is extended to all link partners with NO cost involved.
Sites selected for showcase will be based on submissions received on a first
come first serve basis and they will be rotated accordingly. All submitted sites
will be placed on queue.
Before you join us as a
link exchange member/partner, please read the following listing pre-requisites
to determine if you satisfy the requirements.
Listing Pre-Requisites
You must be involved in
the Arts, Arts and Crafts, Gifts and Collectibles or Fashion and Accessories
trade and preferably, you are actively involved in creating your own products
and not just solely selling some generic products mass produced by some other
manufacturers. If your site is not related in any way to any of the above-mentioned
activities, it will be deemed unsuitable for listing.
We require that you to
put a reciprocal link on a link page on your site linking back to us You may
choose to use any of our text links(preferred) or banners below as your reciprocal
link. If you have no intention of placing a reciprocal link, please do not complete
the form.
The contents of
your site should be family friendly. It should not contain any porn, hate,
violent or illegal materials.
Your site should
be of an acceptable quality and must be original and not a link farm or a turnkey or
generic site.
While we do allow sites
with sub-domain or those hosted on free servers to be listed under our directory
listing, your site should not contain excessive popups that would cause annoyance
to visitors.
Upon receipt of your
submission, we will review and also check for the existence of our link on
your site. The correct procedure would be to place a reciprocal link on your
site first before you proceed to complete all information in the form below.
Therefore, you will need to decide in advance the url address on your site
where the reciprocal link would be placed as you will need to fill in this
piece of information in the form below. The sooner your reciprocal link is
up, the earlier your site will be listed.
If everything is in order, we will let you know as soon as your site is added
to our listing. Sites without the reciprocal link will not be listed.
Please note that we like to keep our listing updated and any site whose link
has been changed or is no longer operational for a suficient period or whose
reciprocal link back to us no longer exist will be removed accordingly. Therefore,
it is important that any changes to your link information be updated in our
database. You can do this by modifying
your record anytime.
What
happens if a sub-category which I am looking for does not exist in your directory?
If you find
that a particular sub-category does not exist, please email
us and we will consider creating one for you. In the meantime, you may
first choose to list in an existing category that provides the closest match
and you can subsequently modify your record once we notify you that the sub-category
which you have requested has been created.
